Carnatic Kutcheri organized by the Brooklyn Raga Massive, New York, consists of a Workshop and a Concert Series.

Carnatic 101, A Guided Listening (Workshop):

Ever wonder what exactly is happening during a South Indian classical performance? In this guided listening, Arun Ramamurthy & Roopa Mahadevan walk you through vintage recordings of some of the legends of Carnatic Music. Learn about the structures and improvisational protocols, and how they lay the framework for interactive and spontaneous performances. This class is open to all levels of musical understanding.
